Voilà Mademoiselle qui dort pendant que son père regarde les emails. C'est un peu coquin de dormir pour Daddy quand on a pleuré avec Mamma toute la journée et la nuit d'avant. Enfin, peu après cette photo, elle s'est à nouveau réveillé. Mais maintenant elle dort...J'avais pensé à un truc bien pour ce soir, mais là c'est déjà tard et je suis nase, alors ça va devoir attendre encore un peu. Alors voilà un peu des divers :
Un film que j'ai vu en 2004, qui figurera encore longtemps parmi mes 'best of', c'est Nos Meilleures Années. Comment vous expliquer ? C'est un film où on ne voit plus l'écran, on ne remarque pas les acteurs : on est tout simplement aspiré dans l'histoire; et pendant les jours qui suivent on est encore habité par l'histoire et les personnages du film. Vraiment conseillé sans réserve.
Un avertissement : ça dure 6h.
Pour traiter les images que je fais avec mon appareil numérique, j'utilise un logiciel gratuit, Picasa2, il y a des fonctions sympas pour améliorer - voire récupérer - les photos, et aussi un système qui permet de classer et répertorier toutes les images sur votre ordinateur.
Il y a deux sites que j'ouvre systématiquement tous les jours - c'est Google, que vous connaissez sûrement, et aussi le site du BBC (si vous lisez l'anglais). Saviez-vous qu'avec Google vous pouvez aussi traduire des textes (ou des pages web), chercher des images, et encore autres choses ?
Here’s a photo of Kalia sleeping with her Daddy while he reads his email. It’s a bit cheeky to sleep for Daddy when she’d been crying at Mamma for most of the day (and night). Anyway, shortly after this photo she woke up again. But now she’s sleeping…I had an excellent idea for this evening’s post, but now it’s late and I haven’t got enough oomph. So here are a few odds and ends.
Well it’s the Oscars right now, and I don’t think I’ve seen any of the films concerned. In any case, my film of the year for 2004 is definitely Best of Youth. It’s a film where you are so drawn into the story that you don’t even notice the screen, or the actors. And for several days after seeing the film you feel as though the characters in the film are part of your life. A definite must see.
Just one warning: it lasts six hours.
For handling and improving the pictures I take with my digital camera, I use a free program called Picasa2, which does pretty nifty things while being very easy to use. It also has a system to help organise all the photos on your computer.
There are two sites which I use every day : Google, which you know, and the BBC news site. Did you know that with Google you can also translate texts (or web pages), and search for images. Sometimes if you have a technical question, or one related to a specific subject, you can try searching in Google groups.
And no, I don't have shares in Google!
