En Angleterre, il ne semble pas que les gens prennent très à coeur les révélations qui découlent des documents volés/dévoilés par Edward Snowden par rapport aux activités de la NSA et GCHQ. Personnellement je trouve tout ça inquiétant, et déprimant.J'ai beaucoup de respect pour lui. Les gens disent beaucoup de choses à son sujet, mais il est intelligent et je trouve qu'il a bien joué ses cartes en disant d'avance: ils chercheront à nuir à ma réputation pour détourner l'attention du message.
J'ai lu dernièrement que Mark Gravel (le sénateur qui a dévoilé les 'Pentagon Papers' a dit que ça aurait dû être un politicien qui aurait dû avoir le courage de révéler ces choses - il aurait eu l'immunité parlementaire et n'aurait pas eu besoin de fuir à l'étranger comme l'a fait Snowden.

In the UK, nobody seems to be really taking notice of everything coming out of Edward Snowden's stolen/leaked documents from the NSA/GCHQ. Personally, I find it all incredibly alarming, and profoundly depressing.And I have a lot of respect for the guy. People are saying all kinds of things about him, but I think he's smart, because most of the things are things he's already predicted they will try: spreading dirt on the messenger to draw attention away from the message.
I read somewhere (but can't find the link now), that Mark Gravel (the senator who 'leaked' the Pentagon Papers by 'reading them into the congressional record' - i.e. read them out in a congressional committee such that they had to be transcribed into a publicly-available document) said that Snowden shouldn't have had to sacrifice his security and future to leak this information: because senators or congressman should have already brought it to the public.
