Un autre avant/après - sauf qu'ici on voit en vert la pompe à insuline qu'elle a eu pendant les premiers 3 jours, puis en rose sa nouvelle pompe à elle, avec laquelle on rentrera à la maison, et qu'elle va porter encore un bon bout de temps. C'est le top parce que ça aide vraiment à stabiliser la glycémie, prévient des 'hypo' de nuit, et évite des piqures dans le ventre à répétition. Malheureusement il n'y a pas encore de solution pour éviter de devoir se piquer le bout des doigts pour tester la glycémie :(
Another before/after - except this time it's the 'old' green pump, that she was on for the first few days in the hospital, and her own new pink pump, which she'll be wearing for the forseeable future. It's a pretty cool piece of kit, as it really helps to stabilise blood sugar levels, avoids going 'hypo' overnight, and especially reduces 4/5 daily insulin jabs to once-every-three days pin prick to stick a catheter in. Unfortunately nobody has come up with a viable alternative to pricking the edges of your fingers for blood testing :(
