Sleep walker ... somnifère ambulant

Il y a un remède sûr pour les côliques - c'est que Daddy prenne Kalia pour des longs promenades dans le 'porte-bébé' sur son ventre. Ca marche à tous les coups - c'est même assez radical - ça arrive qu'elle s'endort avant qu'on arrive en bas de l'escalier !

Ainsi j'ai passé environ 8 heures ce week-end à me promener au bord du lac - ce qui n'est pas une grande souffrance - j'aime tellement me promener et il a fait super beau. On dirait que non seulement ça la tranquilise mais ça aide vraiment la digestion.

Mais je ne pourrais pas me promener comme ça 24h sur 24 !

On essaie aussi un nouveau produit 'miracle' - on verra bien ce que ça va donner.

Elle est de plus en plus éveillée et consciente de son environnement. Je pense même qu'elle a fait le déclic 'Mamma/pas Mamma' - ce matin quand Mamma est partie au petit coin, elle a piqué une crise de panique monumentale.

Here is a photo of Kalia with her 'friends' - a mobile which hangs above the nappy-changing table, that gets lots of smiles. It was fun to watch this morning as the mobile turned slowly - she would follow the nearest part and smile. I think she has also realised that Mamma is not always there, this morning she threw a mega-wobbly when she couldn't 'find' her.

//The best remedy we have found so far for colics and so on is Daddy taking Kalia on long walks in the baby-carrying thing (not the sling, still haven't quite got the hang of that). This weekend I think I clocked-up at least 8 hours walking along the lake and in and out of town. Not that it bothers me particularly, I like to get out at the weekend, and the weather was excellent. It sure seems to sort out any tummy troubles - sometimes I haven't even got down to the bottom of the stairs and she's already out like a light!

But I can't walk 24 hours a day!

We've also started a new 'magic potion' - so we'll see whether it works any better than the previous one.
