Notre hôtesse nous avait laissé trois tickets d'entrée pour le
zoo. Malheureusement on est quatre, donc j'ai dû patienter pour entrer.
The lady who lent us the flat had left three tickets for the
zoo. Unfortunately there are four of us, so I had to wait in the queue to pay.
C'est le plus ancien zoo du monde (plus de 250 ans), et il y avait beaucoup d'animaux que je n'ai jamais vu, et même plusieurs dont j'ignorais l'existence.
It's the oldest zoo in the world (250 years), and there were lots of animals I'd never seen, and quite a few I'd never even heard of.

Cette chauve souris était en quarantaine - ou quelque chose, et les filles ont passé un long moment à regarder - au moment donné, alors que la dame avait fini de laver par terre, la chauve souris s'est soigneusement mis à l'endroit, pour faire pipi, puis s'est remis à l'envers!
This bat was in quarantine or something, the girls spent a long time watching his antics. After the lady had finished cleaning the floor he slowly swung himself round to hanging right way up, peed, and then hung upside down again!
Pas évident à voir, mais c'est deux loutres.
