11 jours sans écrire sur mon blog. Pas bien!Hier on est passé devant 3 membres de la municipalité pour se faire questionner en vue de la naturalisation. On s'était préparé un petit peu à l'arrache - il y a une quantité de choses à savoir, au niveau géographique, politique, historique et culturelle. Mais à nous deux on a su répondre à presque toute les questions.
En tout cas suffisamment pour passer à l'étape suivante: qui est d'attendre!
Ca fait quand même un peu bizarre.
Wow! 11 days with no posts, definitely not acceptable.Just so's you know, yesterday we passed the last hurdle towards getting red passports. Well, that's not entirely true. We went to be grilled by members of the council who have to check how 'integrated' we are. For this we had to swot up on the geography, history, culture and politics of our town, but also region and the whole country.
We didn't know everything there was to be known, but apparently we knew enough. This is the last 'unknown' hurdle (or potentially locked door, choose your metaphor), now it's just a question of waiting (and paying...).
Strange times...
