Une des activités payantes que j'ai fait avec les filles qui valait vraiment la peine c'était "faire connaissance avec les hiboux". Du plus petit (plus petit qu'un merle) jusqu'au plus grand, les filles ont pu porter et caresser chacun.
One of the really worthwhile activities I did with the girls was "introduction to owls". From the smallest (smaller than a blackbird) to the biggest, the girls could carry and stroke each one.
Bien sûr, je suis incapable de me rappeler de leurs noms, mais grâce à internet, je peux dire que celui-ci est une chouette effraie.
Of course I'm useless with animal names, but a bit of digging around tells me that this is a Barn Owl.
Il fausait horriblement froid, mais les filles se sont éclatés. (Je crois que celui-ci c'est un Grand Duc)
It was perishing cold out, but the girls had a great time (this is a European Eagle Owl).
Voilà l'hibou le plus grand, une chouette lapone.
And this is the biggest owl in the world, the Great Grey Owl.
