Seaquarium

 

Une fois n'est pas coutume, on est retourné au Seaquarium, où Kalia a eu le courage d'aller au milieu des méduses. Après beaucoup d'hésitation elle a même osé toucher une raie!

In keeping with tradition we visited the Sequarium again. Kalia dared to go inside the jelly-fish tank. And even more bravely, she dared to touch a ray!

Il y avait aussi un requin dépressif, en tout cas il ne bougait pas et restait là planté au fond du bassin.

On a aussi appris la différence entre un phoque et une otarie (que j'ai oublié depuis!).

Surtout, on a rencontré un phoque interactif et extraordinaire (voir les vidéos ci-dessous)

There was this depressed shark - in any case he just lay there at the bottom of the tank staring blankly into space (and thinking of Damien Hirst?).

I also learnt the difference between a seal and a seal lion (which I had to look up again!)

And most importantly we met this amazing bopping seal! (videos below).
