Le 26, nous sommes partis en Angleterre pour fêter Noël avec ma famille au grand complet (première fois en ... 4 ans?). Nous ne sommes restés que 3 jours, mais il y aura largement plus de photos que je peux caser en trois jours, donc la période festive sera encore avec nous sur ce blog pendant encore un petit moment!
On Boxing Day, we flew to the UK for a family Christmas - first time we'd all been together in 4 years (I think) - or first time ever, if you count Rebecca. We only stayed 3 days, but I've got plenty more photos than fit in three days of blog posts, so the festive season will be with us a while longer here!
Il y avait un petit peu de neige chez nous le jour de Noël, mais il ne restait pas beacoup au tour de Genève le lendemain (heureusement!).
There was a little snow on Christmas day, but not everything was still white on Boxing Day.
Kalia s'est très bien occupé dans l'avion, Rebecca par contre, n'a pas voulu s'assoeir dans son siège pour le décollage, mais a fini par se convaincre. Partis de la maison à 7h du matin, on est arrivé chez mes parents vers 15h (suisse).
Kalia kept herself busy with a specially prepared bag of things to do. Rebecca didn't want to sit down on her own seat for the take off, but I managed to convince her. We left home at 7h in the morning, took the train to the airport, 2h wait, the another hour or more on the plane waiting for them to unstick the support vehicles. Hour and a half flight, wait for suitcase. Dad came to pick us up - complete with Christmas hat. And another hour an a half drive. I'm not sure how much that adds up to, but I think we were home and dry around 3pm (swiss time).
