Paternity leave is just so cool. The first days following the arrival of a new baby happen in some kind of parrallel universe anyway. The whole family has to adjust - especially to the broken sleeping patterns. And everything slows down. With two parents at home, it's quite managable. All alone it would be a nightmare.
As I write this, Rebecca is sleeping in her cot next to me. That may seem trivial, but - for the moment at least - she's a much better sleeper that Kalia was at her age. Wonderful!
