Rare

Rare shot of me, before the haircut.

Not greatly inspired ... Manque d'inspiration

Lacking inspiration recently for the blog, but I still have quite a few photos up my sleeve...

No flash ...

Unfortunately the flash didn't fire for this shot.

We've gone from sub-zero temperatures to 18C some afternoons in just a couple of days. A real shock to the system, and difficult to know what to put on in the morning if you don't want to be all sweaty in the afternoon.

What always amazes me is that in a couple of months we'll be shivering when it's 'only' 18 degrees.

Average is beautiful? ... Moyennement belle

I just stumbled on a very interesting blog post, with this photo.

Quite attractive these two young folk, aren't they?

Except that they're not two, they're 40.

She is an 'average' of photos of 16 women, he of 24 men.

And if you check out the originals, it would seem that the average is more attractive than the composite parts.

ME! ... MOI!

Rebecca is into her independent stage at the moment.

She wants to eat on her own, if you please (except when she's tired).

And in her own way too.

As it happens, this time it was her sister who gave her the idea of how to eat her soup a bit more efficiently than with a spoon.

If you look closely, you'll see her hair is all wet too...

She's been ill on and off since the start of the year. Seems that the swine flu we had before Christmas knocked her immunity for six, and she caught all the bugs that are doing the rounds at this time of year. Which is one of the reasons I haven't had much time for blogging recently.

She's better, but taking antibiotics for two months. And during that time we're not having people round, to avoid new bugs.
