Green Park 4 ... Ferme 4

Il y a aussi un grand terrain avec du bon gazon, avec des jouets, des ballons de foot, des frisbee.

Et encore plein d'autres trucs dont je n'ai pas de photo: Un grand étang avec poissons, grenouilles et libellules. Des hamacs, trampolines, un espace jeu d'eau, un jardin potager, un jardin de fleurs, un verger, une labyrinthe de maïs, des tours en poney.

ET DES TOILETTES PROPRES (Oui, c'est en France, et j'ai bien dit propre, incroyable non?)

There's a big open grassy area with toys, footballs and frisbees.
There are plenty of other things that I didn't get photos of. A big natural pond, with fish, frogs and dragon flies.. Hammocks, trampolines, a water play area, a herb garden, flower garden, orchard, maize maze, poney rides.

AND CLEAN TOILETS. (Yes, this is France and you did read that right!)

Green Park 3 ... Ferme 3

Il y a une piste pour des courses de voiture à pédales...

There's a race course for pedal cars...

Une piste pour les vélos, avec un tas de vélos de toutes tailles, en libre service.

A 'obstacle' course for bikes, and a big pile of bikes of all sizes that you can choose from freely.

Un énorme château en rondins, avec de quoi se déguiser à l'intérieur.

A big log fort, with dressing up kit inside.

Un tyrolienne, et bien d'autres jeux.

A rope slide, and lots of climbing frames.

Green Park 2 ... Ferme 2

(Suite d'hier) un monstre 'bac' à sable avec tout ce qu'il faut pour la construction. Encore plein d'autres trucs. Et des chaises longues partout pour les parents qui surveillent leurs enfants.

(Continued from yesterday) a monster sand-pit/construction site, and much more. And deck chairs everywhere for parents to sit on while they're watching over their kids.

Kalia a particulièrement aimé l'âne.

Green Park ... Ferme enchantée

La découverte la plus appréciée de notre séjour était 'La ferme enchantée'.

The most amazing discovery of our stay was 'Green Park (the enchanted farm)'.

Je ne tarirais pas d'éloges, il y a tout là-bas, des animaux qu'on peut nourrir et toucher...

I can't rave about this place enough, it is the tops. They have animals you can feed and pet...

Une buvette, avec un coin lecture et coloriage...

A snack bar, picnic area, low tables with books to read and pens for colouring...

Des jeux qui traînent un peu partout. Et attendez, je n'ai pas fini....

Train 1

Nous sommes allés voir le Petit Train à Vapeur des Cévennes. Ici, sur le chemin à l'aller on s'est arrêté à une place de jeu à Lédignan (on croirait un nom de village en Bretagne, mais non). On a acheté du pain et les filles se sont régalées en jouant.

We went for a trip on the Cévennes Steam Train. On the way, we stopped at a play area in Lédignan, bought some bread, and the girls had a time time munching and playing.

Dans le train, le contrôleur a pris le temps de laisser poinçonner le ticket par Kalia, et a prêté sa casquette à Rebecca pour une photo.

On the train, the ticket collector took his time, and let Kalia punch the tickets, and lent his hat to Rebecca for a photo.

On était trop en retard pour prendre le train depuis Anduze, donc on a continuer en voiture jusqu'à St-Jean de Gard, pour faire l'aller retour dans l'autre sens! La voie n'était pas en très bon état, les wagons tanguer dans tous les sens. Et ce n'est pas super écolo non plus. Et personne ne sort tout propre des wagons à la fin.

We got to Anduze too late to take the steam train, so we drove all the way to St-Jean de Gard to do the return journey in the other direction! The track wasn't in a very good state, and the engine and carriages were bucking about all over the place. Not very ecological either, everyone is 'covered' in soot at the end of the journey.

Les experts auront remarqué que j'ai pris l'autre appareil photo pour cette sortie.

The sharp-eyed among you will have noticed that I was using the SLR on this outing.
